  7. placed in front of the eye not being examined.  The arm of the fixation 
  8. light is used to position it; laterally, vertically as well as rotating it so 
  9. the target is towards the patientΓÇÖs 
  10. eye.  The small lever on the fixation 
  11. light can be slide to adjust for the 
  12. patientΓÇÖs refractive error.
